macOS, TV, routers and other platforms
Which devices Colitu doesn't support yet, what works on Android TV and what you can do in the meantime.
Colitu has apps for Windows, Android (including Android TV), iOS and Linux. This page covers everything else: what works, what doesn't, and what to do in the meantime.

macOS
There is no Colitu app for Mac today. Colitu also doesn't offer manual setup for other VPN apps: server addresses and keys are never handed out, and the apps receive their connection settings in encrypted form. We don't announce dates for new platforms.
Until then, protect your other devices: an iPhone (through TestFlight), an Android phone, or a Windows or Linux computer.
Android TV and Google TV
These TVs are supported. The same Android app runs with a TV interface that you control with the remote.
- On the TV, open the Downloader app and enter colitu.com/tv. This short address always leads to the current app. You can also get it from colitu.com/download/android-tv.
- Open Colitu. The sign-in screen shows a QR code and a short code.
- Scan the QR code with your phone and approve the sign-in in your Colitu account, or enter the code at app.colitu.com/link.
The TV uses one device slot of your plan. Step-by-step guide: VPN for Android TV and Google TV. Streaming tips: Netflix, YouTube and other streaming services.
Amazon Fire TV
Fire TV is not officially tested. Fire OS is based on Android, so the Android app may install and run, but we can't promise that every feature works on every model.
Routers
Routers are not supported. There is no router firmware and no manual configuration. Install the Colitu app on each device you want to protect instead; each device uses one slot of your plan.
Other smart TVs
There is no Colitu app for TVs with other operating systems, for example Samsung or LG TVs that don't run Android TV.
Linux
The Linux app is in beta: the core features work, but it hasn't been tested on every distribution and desktop environment. See Using Colitu on Linux.
iPhone and iPad
The iOS app is fully working but still in testing, so it is distributed through Apple's TestFlight. See Using Colitu on iOS.
In the meantime
- Use Colitu on your supported devices. One account works on all of them; you choose the number of devices in your plan.
- New apps will be listed on colitu.com/download.
- Tell support which platform you need. It helps us plan.
