Using Colitu on Windows

Colitu for Windows runs on Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit) and connects in one click.

#Installation

1. On colitu.com/download, click Download for Windows.
2. Run the installer. If Windows SmartScreen warns you, choose More info → Run anyway only if you downloaded the file from colitu.com.
3. When setup finishes, start Colitu and sign in.

#Connecting

1. Pick a server from Locations, or use Fastest.
2. Click Connect on the home screen.
3. Once connected, the icon turns green and the timer starts.

#System proxy and TUN mode

• System proxy: browsers and apps that respect the Windows proxy setting go through Colitu. Light and fast.
• TUN mode: all traffic, including games and programs that make their own connections, goes through the tunnel. It may ask for administrator permission the first time.

If a program still shows your real location while connected, turn on TUN mode.

#Category filters

On the Locations screen you can filter servers by purpose: Streaming, Gaming, Privacy, Speed and Torrent. The AI and streaming labels are refreshed from automatic service tests that run on every server.

#Troubleshooting

• Stuck on "Connecting": a firewall or antivirus may be blocking Colitu. Add Colitu to its allow list.
• Internet drops completely: restart the app; if it continues, turn TUN mode off and try system proxy.
• Another VPN is installed: two VPNs should not run at the same time. Close the other one.

Anything else: Connection problems.
