What changed in this release
v2.3.0 Faster connections and a new home screen
Colitu 2.3.0 brings more reliable connections, stronger privacy, and a redesigned home screen. Plans are no longer bought inside the app; you are sent to your account.
New features
- New home screen, the same as on iPhone: connect button, speed, server and a one-line plan card.
- Plans are no longer bought inside the app; the Plan page opens your account on app.colitu.com.
- Tap 'Refresh status' when you come back to see your plan status.
Bug fixes
- Fixed connecting failed with 'the VPN engine could not start' on some servers, accounts and TVs.
- Cancelling while connecting no longer leaves the tunnel running in the background.
- A short server outage no longer signs you out and turns the VPN off.
- Switching servers without internet now shows the server you are really connected to.
- Other apps can no longer use, detect, stop your VPN connection, or add servers.
- While connected, the app's own requests to Colitu also go through the VPN.
- Support diagnostics are sent only when you turn them on and no longer include the sites you visited.
Performance improvements
- The app is smaller and starts faster.
