What changed in this release
v5.4.0 Ad blocking and a new server label
Colitu can now block ads and trackers. You can turn it on or off in your Account settings.
New features
- A new "Ad blocking" switch is in Account → Features. It is off by default.
- When it is on, ads and trackers are blocked in every app by Colitu's own DNS servers, on every server you connect to.
- No query log is kept on these servers.
- If a site or an app stops working properly, turn the switch off; the connection restarts by itself when you change it.
- Servers that run Colitu's ad-blocking DNS (Sweden, United Kingdom, Poland) carry an "Ad blocking" label in the server list.
