What changed in this release
v1.5.3 Faster first connections, smarter automatic choice and a tighter kill switch
First connections to a new server are now ready in seconds. Automatic mode is smarter and the kill switch is more secure.
New features
- The first connection to a new server is now ready within a second or two.
- Automatic mode ("best server") now uses the same rules on every Colitu app.
- The kill switch is stricter: exceptions are limited to exactly the needed user, connection type and port.
Bug fixes
- Auto-connect keeps the location you saved: it waits up to 4 seconds for the server list.
- Our service addresses are remembered across restarts and used at once.
- A server is left only when both the main line and the backup line stopped working.
- When a connection breaks mid-session, the app notices in about 11 seconds and moves to the next server.
- Adaptive Connect follows our gradual rollout.
