What changed in this release
v2.8.3 Site names now always resolve inside the VPN
On some connection methods, site names were looked up outside the VPN; this is now fixed. Pages load faster and more securely.
Bug fixes
- With some connection methods, site names were looked up outside the VPN; now all methods keep them inside.
- With the kill switch off, your provider could see which sites you visited; this is no longer possible.
- With the kill switch on, site names did not resolve at all, so pages loaded slowly or not at all; this is fixed.
- The backup server path now also works with the connection methods that previously refused it.
- After the app closed unexpectedly with the kill switch on, it no longer shows 'Colitu server unreachable' at start-up.
